Extremely incorrect sir. Texas A&M's stadium very clearly says they won the conference title in 97, 98 and 2010.

Aggy takes credit for a lot of stuff. But it's embarrassing they list 1997 and 2010 as actual conference championships, when they were only division (97) and co-champs in the division (2010) lol.

Not to mention joining the SEC somehow gave them 2 more National Championships.

One picture is their last season in the Big 12, the other is their first season in the SEC.
Spoiler

But to be fair, they went back and fixed it. In extremely fine print.

That's the $64,000 question. And why I am rooting for the Badgers.

Last year, Ohio State got in over a Penn State team with one more loss but a conference title and a head-to-head win over Ohio State. This year, Alabama would be in ~Ohio State's position (fewer losses but no hardware) and Ohio State would be in ~Penn State's position from last year (more losses and a conference title) right down to the blowout road conference loss. I'd even argue that PSU's 49-10 loss to a very good Michigan team last year is a "better" loss than Ohio State's 55-24 loss to a mediocre Iowa team this year.

Buckeye fans will argue S.O.S. until they turn purple. But, while Bama may not have beaten MSU, Michigan, PSU, and potentially Wisconsin this season, the Tide also didn't get throttled by a mediocre Iowa team either. A close loss to Auburn might even count more than a close win over a decent B1G team depending on how the committee views War Eagle.

We'll see, but hopefully Wisconsin makes this debate academic. The Playoff could use some fresh blood anyway.

Horrible vision by Sony Michel. He had an easy first down and cut the wrong way.

Re: Week 14/Conference Championship Discussion

... but it is about SOS. If Bama was 11-1 with wins over #6, 7, and 8 (like OSU was last year), this wouldn’t be a debate, it’d be Bama no doubt if Wisconsin loses.

If we get left out, I won’t be too upset. Can’t get blown out by Iowa and then bitch about what you get. That said, this year things have aligned perfectly to give us a chance which is all we can ask for.
