Re: Week 8 Discussion

Alabama opens as a 35.5 favorite over Tennessee.. I was thinking it would be in the 40s

Pitt heads to the dome Friday vs Cuse. Lots of crazy games between the two, I remember watching that 76-61 game.

There's no way it closes that high, right? That's a conference "rivalry," after all.

I think BYU should text Boise, though I have faith in the Broncos to win it. They've got their veteran backup QB in now.

Iowa State-TTU could work out as important for the Big 12 race.

Tulane-Memphis should be good. The AAC is really competitive.

PAC-12 North title game Saturday afternoon. I think Oregon's got it, but I don't doubt Washington could mathematically eliminate the conference from the playoff. Finally starting to understand the limitations of the way Cristóbal wants the offense to go.

According to Reign of Troy, USC has the edge on Arizona everywhere except their run game versus our run defense. I think Khalil Tate is gonna run all over us.

I think your emphasis on the word rivalry is important. The fanbases still hate each other, but UT hasn't won since 2006.

Those are some margins of victory in just the past 10 years. Alabama has won by 37 points or more in just the past three seasons. It's not the worst bet you could make, but rivalry games are sometimes tricky. In 2015 UT got within 5 points.

Re: Week 8 Discussion

I’ll be at the Pens game Saturday night, so I’m not even watching TTSIO. Alabama should pretty much be able to name the score.
