Re: Week 12 Discussion

Sounds like Tua's injury is the same thing that ended Bo Jackson's career.

This is awful

Apparently he was "screaming in pain" and it's now his right hip. Nothing to do witht the ankle.

I really hope that's not the case

He was flown to Birmingham and if the injury is the same as Bo Jackson, he could be done. He could need an immediate hip replacement. There is also a joint that connects the leg to the pelvis and it can be dislocated in collisions. It absorbs shock when you move and is extremely painful if something happens to it (it happened to me and I could barely move).

Saban needs to take a lot of heat for playing him. While it's not the ankle, there is no reason he should have been playing in this game. He probably shouldn't have played last week either. Saban needs to care about his players' future and not about winning this game and costing him millions in the future.

I think Saban ends up retiring after this year. Tua lobbied to stay in the game, but you're right, he shouldn't have played either of the last two weeks and probably should've been shut down last year too.

I just don't see how he can keep coaching after this

If that is the case, he will be having some type of hip replacement. Bo didn't have surgery though, so that is what caused the career ending. He could recover depending on how bad it is.

I'll clarify, Tua shouldn't have been in due to the game circumstances and his previous injury.

It's like deja vu with what happened to Tyrone Prothro

As a Michigan fan, I'd be down for that. I can only imagine what his yearly 8 wins would translate to in the Big10 East.

If I was impartial, I'd say axing Dantonio to bring in Narduzzi is about as a lateral of a move as you can get. With all the off the field issues not to mention the on the field performance, Sparty needs to fumigate the program.
