Not the most exciting week for matchups. Only 1 game will be played between ranked teams, and some other key games were postponed. It's still college football though.

Georgia-Alabama is the bear. Georgia's defense is elite, but I see this game playing out in a similar fashion to last year's SECCG. Georgia's defense actually played pretty good in that game. They had the Tigers well below their seasonal averages, and forced several 3 & outs. Georgia's offense was just never able to get on track though, and then the flood gates opened when the defense was kept asking to make stops. I don't think that Alabama wins by 27, but I'm expecting them to pull away late.

Outside of the 1 ranked matchup, I think that Virginia Tech - Boston College and Auburn - South Carolina appear to be the most competitive games on paper. UCF-Memphis could also be interesting.

There are a few other things to look out for as well:

How does Texas A&M look coming off that big victory and up against the Mike Leach offense.

How do Tennessee and Miami rebound after losing to good teams last week.

Kentucky finally playing like they have the last couple of years.

It might be time for Auburn to find a new QB.

Pitt's defense is nasty and I am glad they have Mark Whipple as their OC. They look like Mark Richt's Miami teams. Great to elite defenses that get zero help from the offense.

King was atrocious today. I was happy to see a lot of the young WR's getting more snaps today because the senior WR group has shown they are simply not that good. I'll a 31-19 win against a great defense when King has a really bad game and the WR's struggled to do anything.

Yea I've never understood the hype about Bo Nix. Unfortunately Kentucky made him look like a Heisman when we played.
