How did Ohio State think playing only 2 linebackers, never rolling up a safety, and sitting back defensively would ever stop the running game?

I was shocked they never made an adjustment when it became obvious that the dline wasn’t getting enough penetration to affect the run game.

Miami Ohio and Kent State for the division, Miami Ohio kicks the FG at the end of the 4th to go to OT, then after they each score in OT, Miami goes for 2 and gets stopped. 48-47 Kent State goes to Detroit to play Northern Illinois
