Here's how to load the rosters for NCAA College Hoops 2K7 using Xsata hard drive hardware and Xplorer 360 software when you have a .z36 file (NCAA 2k7 rosters used as an example):
1. Download the roster file: http://www.sendspace.com/file/r362da
2. Convert this downloaded .z36 file to a .bin file via XIC. You can get this software from here: http://www.360gamesaves.com/modules....download&cid=5
Open the XIC program (you may need winrar to open it) .There are two blanks in the XIC program window. Click the browse button (the button to the right of the Datel Image *.z36 cell) and find your downloaded jpup.z36 file. Double click
3. Now copy the Datel Image *.z36 cell completely and paste this in the Xplorer Image *.BIN cell below. **IMPORTANT** Scroll to the end of the Xplorer Image *.BIN cell and change the last 3 letters from .z36 to .bin. Click convert, wait 10 seconds and you should get a message saying the image was successfully created. This is important as it will convert the .z36 file into a file that your Xplorer 360 program can recognize (360 console doesn't recognize *.bin files)
4. Now open Xplorer 360 and click in this order: Drive, Open, Image. Find the *.bin file from the previous step (should save in easy to remember location) and double click the file. Click in this order, Partition 1, Content. You should see two folders beginning with E000....Click in this order on the bottom E0000.. folder: 545...folder, ...0001 folder, and OS1128.
5. Right click this OS1128 file and extract it to an easy to remember location on your computer.
6. Now click in this order on Xplorer 360: Drive, Open, Harddrive. Partition 3, Content, E00000,,,,, . Find the folder with the College Hoops 2k7 files in it. On the right side of Xplorer, Right click on a blank spot and select insert file. Find the OS1128 file and insert it. When the timer runs out, YOU'RE DONE!!!!.
7. Simply disconnect the USB Connector and your 360 will reboot.
8. Go to the Load screen when CH2K7 reboots and Load the OS1128 file. Go to the Rosters in management to check to see if it worked. A quick way to check is to go to Notre Dame and see if #15 is Colin Falls and # 44 is Luke Harangody. If so you're done!!!!
Had to figure this out on my own by piecing together numerous forums. This is very meticulous as it covers every step taken. All source location for using Xsata with *.z36 files .HUGE thanks to the People who worked so hard on making the Rosters. This process should work with all *.z36 files using the Xsata hardware and Xplorer 360 and XIC software. Remember this, convert the image, extract the image, input the image. Good luck with it and let me know if its okay!!!!
