How to get 2k8 rosters on RPCS3?

I've been trying to figure it out myself. I've got the roster from the topic above and it put the unzipped folder in the same location I was able to import the 2020 NCAA football rosters from. It shows in the save manager and even "loads" when I start the game but it is still the default rosters.

You need to use the program BruteForce Save Data. Google it and install.

Here's the method I use to get custom rosters into RPCS3:

1. Take your custom roster folder (should start with "BLUS30078-ROS...") and paste it into "RPCS3-->dev_hdd0-->home-->00000001-->savedata".
Note that "RPCS3" just refers to wherever you installed RPCS3 on your machine.

2. Open BruteForce Save data program and navigate to the folder in step 1.

3. You should see your roster files in the list view. Click one of them and select "Update Account ID", then "Unlock Save to Work on any PS3 Account". Then click "Decrypt PFD" with the roster file still selected.

4. Repeat this step for all your roster files.

5. Exit the program, boot up RPCS3, and launch CH2K8.
Note: If you get a prompt saying "PS3 only reads encrypted saves, do you want to exit with # of saves decrypted", just say yes.

6. Load your rosters.

7. Profit.

so when i try to do that it doesnt let me decript the roster it only allows me to update account id
the deciypt buttom in greyed out and it doenst let me click it

I am in the same boat. Been working on this for a long time and cannot get any roster to work with RPCS3 and bruteforce. I get the same grayed out options as above. I have tried many guides and YouTube videos with no joy. Please can some one help?

Ok I figured it out. I downloaded Bruteforce from the link in this YouTube video:

I follow the instructions exactly in the description. Make sure you install Msvbvm50.exe first then install Bruteforce. Do not do the update popup when you first load up bruteforce. Just click the x on the top right.

The post above about updating account ID I did not do that all. Just Decrypt PDF then closed Bruteforce and clicked yes that it is ok that the files are decrypted. Only PS3 needs files encrypted, RPCS3 does not.
