Is there any difference between AC and AA?

I'm just curious as to what level are most of you simheads are playing and getting realistic results. I'm loosing games on AC but I read on here just as many of you playing on AA? I hear people getting great results on both levels. I wonder, is AA the most "realistic" level? Or do people automatically move up to that level because they are "ashamed" to play on AC. I can see that as a win on AA may be more gratifying than a win on AC. If I go on a 5 game winning streak on AC, I'm sitting there feeling like its too easy and I don't really deserve these wins. I think I would be more "proud" of my accomplishments if the same thing happened on AA. What do you guys think? AC or AA? I just don't want to be on AA and feel like it is just a boost to CPU ratings...i.e. they make almost every open shot, they get almost every rebound ect.....

All-American is going to be more difficult than All-Conference and MOP (Most Outstanding Player) will be the most difficult. I feel like in VC's games as you increase the difficulty the guys play smarter as opposed to getting attribute boosts. I'm coaching on Starter but after beating Towson (72 Ovr) 70-39 with my Norfolk St (70 Ovr) team I'm considering jumping up to All-Conference and maybe even All-American.

I had been playing in All-Conference with Charlotte until today. And just an hour ago, I moved it to All-American and got beat by Valparaiso..pretty embarassing stuff. I can't decide whether to keep it at AC or AA.

Thats what I'm sayin...did you feel that there was greater challange because the CPU played smarter or did you feel that they just made more shots than you?....did they hit almost every "open" shot? One thing I do like about AC is that even if the CPU or even MY best shooter is WIDE OPEN, he will miss every now and then....unlike in ESPN NBA 2k5 where open shots were automatic points. I am loving playing this game not having to worry about sliders!!

I can't speak for playing as much as coaching because I've had maybe 1 complete game playing but 5 strong coaching. It's sorta like just watching games but you actually have control over what happens. It's really alot of fun and the statistical realism as well as the outcomes are unmatched. In that 70-39 win my True Fresh SG (Tony Murphy) dropped 28 starting at PG and my star SG dropped 22.

Well I had to alter sliders a little bit. I felt like Valpo was hitting too many midrange shots with my players draped all over them. They played smarter, I don't mind that. But I dont like when they hit and unrealistic amount of shotgs with players draped over them.
