Is it possible to throw one? I haven't seen one in nearly 40 games.

It is best if you throw one up around the 3pt line.Comment

I think the most important thing (and they even mention this in the manual) is that you have more guys on offense than your opponent has on D. I'm pretty successful with oops like this, but when I try it against a set defense, I usually end up throwing the ball out of bounds. Also, your post guys will raise their hands sometimes saying that they think an oop would work.Favorite Teams:

I throw up quite a few. In fgact the game makes me pay for it if I start doing it too much so it does feel realistic. Depeneding on who is throwing it to who is catching it to if I don't have numbers. Bad passes do happen and the computer makes me pay when I throw one up when i shouldn't have.
This is such a fun game to play.Comment

That's one of the little things that I really like about this game. Not just on the alley oops, but how under pressure you can throw the ball out of bounds. It really adds to the realism. I haven't played many BBall games recently, so I don't know if this is now commonplace, but it's a really nice touch.Originally posted by Bruin26I throw up quite a few. I throw some love into the mix as well. Now if I could just play a game without constantly worrying about the GD thing freezing on me, it'd be perfect.Originally posted by jello1717That's one of the little things that I really like about this game. I haven't any any freezes witht he game whatsoever.
Anyway, another thing that I like in relation to the alley oops in the game is the fact that not all teams have that ability to pull it off.
For example, I can't complete an alley oop for the life of me with Pitt, it's just not possible.
I like that, though.Co-Founder

The key to throwing an alley oop is while coming down the court press the post up button before pressing the lead pass button.Originally posted by The Constipated HippoIs it possible to throw one?
