Out of bounds plays

I think that they should add out of bounds plays to 2k7 if its not to late. This has been something a thought should have been added for years. I they can program entire play sets I would think they could added these types of plays. Most out of bounds plays are just ball side screen away. If you watch college basketball out of bounds plays are just as important as plays to break the press. If you watched the BC and Villanova NCAA Tournament game, a great under the basket out of bounds play won the game. I was thinking they could add a few under the basket, half court, sideline, and full court out of bounds plays. Maybe even a lob play. This could add even more depth to gameplay. Just imagine as a coach call the perfect out of bounds play to get a much needed basket.

It would sure help end of game scenarios. Then when a team is down by 3 with 5 seconds left they could call a play that would actually get them a 3 pointer rather than dribbling around like an idiot and taking bad shots.

I think the worst part of 2k games is the end of game scenario they do not do justice to the great game that was played for 39 minutes. That 1 minute end almost always lacks intelligents on the CPU part. I think inbounding plays could help this logic a ton.

Someone in the nba2k section said that Beluba told him that nba2k 07 will have inbounding plays!!!!!

Hopefully the college game follows suite.

I have first hand knowledge that the 360 version of College Hoops 2k7 has included the ability to run along the baseline following a made basket. Currently it works with player lock ON, by switching quickly to the player inbounding. However VC is currently developing a user friendly implementation. Also, if unswitched, the CPU inbounder will run along the baseline to ease the inbound pass. This is great news for player frustrated with how easy it is to steal inbound passes after made baskets in NBA 2k7. As far as play sets, there are two or three pages of inbound sets (inbound motions, etc) in the coaching settings. These plays work i believe while inbounding. However, you have one play set while inbounding, then a second play set once the ball is inbounded, if that makes any sense. There are also default inbounding plays that are tied to the directional pad while inbounding. I will let you know when i know more...
