Post Up Moves in 2k7 for the 360

Is there a good tutorial of how to execute post up moves. I am trying to start a dynasty with Georgetown and I suck in the post I can never get Roy Hibbert to do what I want or what I expect him to do.

alright i will tell you what i know, but a lot of this stuff has to do w/ positioning.

L1 posts up, once u have established position u dont have to hold it.

shot stick up = hook
shot stick back = fade away
left/right = im not really certain

tap left then right(when its time to shoot) = up and under
tap the button that shoots not the shot stick (square on ps3 i dont have xbox) = drop step(Beastly)

You're exactly right, but remember that VC decided to make the controls relative to the hoop.

So...it's more like this:

shot stick toward basket = hook
shot stick away from basket = fade away
shot stick left/right of basket = up and under
"L" stick left or right of basket and release "L" trigger = Post Spin
You can use the hop step button to do a drop step while posting up

So...it's more like this:

You can use the hop step button to do a drop step while posting up

can you explain the one in bold a little better?
is that hit post modifier to make contact, then move the left analog left or right and release the l trigger = spin?

do you move the analog and release the trigger at the same time or do you move the analog then release?

That's the one. You must direct the "L" stick at the direction that is left or right of the player you're backing down. So, it's based on camera perspective. You then release the post modifier while holding the direction. It does a post spin that doesn't pick up the ball.
