How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!

I am going to play the opening game of my Career legacy with Elon vs Va Tech. I'm sure a loss is coming but hopefully some good things come out of the game as well. My team plays a Memphis style on offense with the 4 out offensive set and a 1-3-1 on defense.

Ive offered 3 schollies.. 1 went to a 6-10 center from Africa, a 6-6 SG who has us #1, and a 6-10 center who has us #2.

I am with Elon as well. I changed my first game from VT to Wake because I didn't want to play my own school. I won my first game by 5 points. It was a nice upset but wake is not much better than Elon in this game.

The freshman sg Terrance Birdette is amazing.

Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!

        Well...

I am 1-3 with St. Francis (NY). I need to figure how to guard the three, cause these guys are getting killed by 3's on the wing. The last game I lost because Maine hit a 3 at the buzzer to force OT, and I missed a game winning 3 in OT. Pretty intense/fast pace action at the end of that game. I am still figuring what each of my players do best.

I have 5 scholarships out. One to a 3 Star 6'6" SF that has us #1 and 90%. I played this guys team in ABL, and I like his game. He has us first and this is the guy I really want to nab. BTW, this is why I think the ABL is a great idea. Getting to actually play as prospects, while time consuming, is very cool and informative.

Anyway I also have scholarships offered to a 6'10" 3 star Center (Either 1 or #2), A 3 star 7'1" center from China, A 3 Star 6'5" SF from Africa, and a 2 Star 7'2" Center (Has us #1. I didn't like his game in the ABL game that I played, but you can't teach height). So far, I am the only team to offer these guys a scholarship. I hope to get at least 3 out of these 5, filling up the other scholarships with guys in the offseason that may have fell under the radar.

10-9 with stetson, just ripped off 5 straight in conference, but lost the first two against the second and third best teams, also had awin at florida gulf coast on a 3 at the buzzer to get my streak started, its cool cause it feels like i've built off the emotion of that win(plus like i said i've been playing the weak half of the conference)

Terrible. 9-5 with Kentucky. 0-3 vs top 25. Was upset by Houston. Been very close games but lost it in the last minutes. My best player R.Bradley is playing like my worst. Shooting terrible, fouling like crazy, and turning over like no other. My best offensive player J. Meeks is on a cold streak and my bench stinks.

Bright spots are Patterson who is a beast. Generally if he is missing I lose, in foul trouble I lose, etc. Crawford is playing well and A. Legion started off slow but has come on strong as of late.

                Hope it gets better.

You guys know it says career legacy, right?

Right now I'm 1-4 with North Florida. Got killed by Maryland, Temple, and Florida. I'm really enjoying that it isn't just extremely easy to win against anyone and I'll be happy to get 7 or 8 wins at this point. I'm doing fairly well recruiting, I have 3 players that all have me first, two 2* and one 3*.

Only one game in to my Georgetown legacy. I love the ABL, I don't play all the way through it but I enjoy the hell out of scouting my players first. It is nice to care about 3 star players now.

I got my eye on a few guys for next year, I'm already preparing for the loss of Roy Hibbert and Jon Wallace.

I have only played one game against a smaller school and won, we shall see how we stack up against the big dogs.

I'm loving this game so far, way better than NBA imo.

I am still undecided on who I will take for my legacy, I am leaning on either Ohio State or Georgetown right now. I have a long way to go before I feel that I am remotely good enough to start my dynasty. No matter who I play with my recruiting goal will always be to basically remake Georgetown's current team in this game. They are SOOO fun to play with.

Get out of here Soce before you tell me how I can recruit 7 footers that run like the wind and can beat the computer 5000 to 0 every game on MOP.

Seriously, let us have your impressions on legacy when you get around to it.

I hope you lose when you play ODU!! Just like I hope the real life Hoyas lose when they come here on Wednesday. Too bad the game is probably sold out, so I can't go.

I started one with N Florida and am 3-2 right now, with the only losses coming to Maryland and Florida (got smoked by Maryland, competed better in the Florida game but still lost by about 15). Starting to learn my team and how to play to their strengths. I love Grimball at center, I eat up the boards with him. Averaging 15 pts and 10 reb. I have a good feeling about this team, although looking ahead to my conference schedule, the first 3-4 and last 3-4 games are against teams with pretty good records, while all the middle games look like they are against crappy teams. I am not familiar at the Atlantic Sun conference, so I don't know who is good or not.

As for recruits, I am going after a couple of world guys that nobody else is. 1 is a PG, 1 is a C, and the other guy is a 3* SF that probably won't end up signing with me but I had to take a shot since he is a local.

4-5 with South Carolina Upstate. Struggling on offense. I tried to jump right to 3 stars in recruiting and that may have been a mistake. Only time will tell.
