Re: This game owns my soul.

2k is likely better suited for the comeback. They have the basketball engine and NBA integration which will boost VC and crossover buyers.

With that said, EA has an ongoing relationship with the football schools, the recruiting system and a head start with licensing.

It is definitely going to be interesting because I think both have their pros and cons but unlike this time last year, I have zero doubts a game would profitable

yeah I had a brain cramp on the math there , was thinking more teams = more NIL, forgetting football rosters are massively larger

Re: This game owns my soul.

Anyone ever have a player on one of your teams that you still think about on a random Monday while at work?

That guy for me was a PF at Northern Iowa. His name was Thomas Lanier. Ended up by his SR year being 7'1 225, but was a true Stretch 4. Had handles, could shoot with range, rebound. Was a beast. I will be sitting at work and think about that guy.

That ever happen to anyone or am I just weird? Lol

Amazing. And yes, I still think about some of my favorite players. 6'7" SF from Boise State Wallace Anrin is one. Love that you bumped this thread

I remember recruiting a guy named Mbyirukira Mbyirukira, it always stuck with me lol, reminded me of former Wisky player Duany Duany, or even Bol Bol

That is awesome! Glad I am not the only one. Funny thing was I had a couple other Centers on the team that were 7'0 and 7'2. I moved Thomas to SF, which he could play very well, and started the 2 Centers as my posts. Played a 2-3 zone. Nobody got a clean look in the paint lol. It was by far the funnest team I have ever had. Made an Elite 8 run and then he graduated.
