Press right on the D-pad, and it'll bring up buttons for some quickplays. I think it only lists the default generic plays (like Quick Post Up, Quick Pick & Roll etc) unless you set the quickplays in your playbook to custom ones. -

Speaking of offensive plays.....just curious as to how many of you actually use the plays and which ones you might use? Personally, I use the pick and roll, and that's about it. I would like to start messing with them a little more.Comment

I use the UCLA high post from time to time. Usually i just pass it around until i get an open shoot or a just go back down when i'm in the paint.OFWGKTA

Re: calling offensive plays in game
I'm always having problems with my players trying to create away from the ball. It seems like the computer's team is always running around, setting screens for one another, and switching positions. Does team unity have an impact on whether or not your players will try and get open or create off the ball? I'm in my first year of a closed legacy with TX State and all they mostly stand around and watch.Comment

Offensive awareness and Intelligence level determines how good the players move around on their own and try to get open.Comment

Ya you pause and go to coaching and go to your playbook, then you will see the plays for your team's playbook on the left side and the 8 quick plays to the right with the button to use to call each one during the game. just click a play on the left from your playbook and then click which button you want to use for it on the right.Comment

Wow...had no idea you could change the plays in game. I'd go into each game with 8 specific plays designed to counter what I thought that team would throw at me. Most of my plays utilized my strengths moreso than exploiting their weaknesses tho...Comment

On PS3 the game freezes when I tried to do this awhile back. So be sure to save your game before you attempt this.Ya you pause and go to coaching and go to your playbook, then you will see the plays for your team's playbook on the left side and the 8 quick plays to the right with the button to use to call each one during the game. just click a play on the left from your playbook and then click which button you want to use for it on the right.Comment

Same here, I run lots of plays trying to use my strengths and attack weaknesses. I like running Fist (high ball screen with the middle cleared out for the PG). I can either drive it with my PG, kick back to the man who screened for me, or kick it to the wings. Also, PF Double Screen works great to get a 1 on 1 situation downlow.Comment
