Is this game objectively better than NCAA basketball 2010 - made by EA sports

have not played a ncaa b-ball game since ch2k6. I know ch2k8 is only $15 new and ncaa 10 is $60 - which is teh better game and why?? and is it easy to get the new rosters?? and finally, what is this "motion offense" for ncaa 10 they keep talkin' bout?? thanks for your time

I personally enjoy NCAA 10 more. 2k8 is a very deep game that I played for a good chunk of time and for $15 it's worth the $$. NCAA 10's motion offense is very smooth and flows great. I guess it depends on your budget and play style.

Yes. 2k8 is better. I've owned them both. I'm still playing 2k8. The only thing I like about NCAA is the new rosters. It's hard to find a VERY accurate roster for 2k8 that's up to date. There are up to date rosters, but if you really look through the small schools you'll find that they are severely jacked up.

I just picked it up. Where can i find accurate rosters? I don't really care about the small schools being accurate.

I think the dynasty mode in 2K8 is MUCH better. However, I have been using deadly canes roster edits for PS3, and I like the way NCAA10 plays better than 2K8 with these rosters.

I wanted to try NCAA Basketball, but I didn't care for the demo, plus no patch and the $60 price tag, I passed and went back to CH2K8 for $10. I haven't played CH2K8 in 2 years. I don't even remember what was so good about it.

Just pick up 2k8 last week and i must say it's a little better than ncaa10..my problem with ea basketball sims has always been their rim physics..every shot is not "all net".Both presentations are good(edge to ncaa for cbs,espn) but love the weekly wrap-up show in 2k8 with highlights..Nba2k11 should take note from 2k8 for real.

I love CHoops 2k8. The dynasty mode is hard to top.

However, I've been enjoying the gameplay of NCAA '10 a lot more lately. Yeah it's slightly annoying that the post shoots all the time, but no game is perfect and I still see a lot of 3's put up by the CPU. I really like the motion offense in EA's game and the fact you can call a pick and roll and have the guy roll to the basket or fade out.

If EA could patch (which they never will) the freezing and post issues, I think NCAA '10 would exceed CHoops by a large margin in terms of gameplay. With that said, I'll always keep CHoops for the Legacy Mode alone.

I have both and 2k8 is still the king. With all the problems with NCAA 10 don't waste your money. EA will not patch the game. 2k8 has the deepest dynasty mode ever. I love 2k8. I traded NCAA 10 in just this week so I could still get something for it.
