Which sports game has the best Franchise mode?

I'm looking to get back into franchise mode. I mostly sim the games but I love the whole GM aspect of the game mode, drafting, scouting, I especially enjoyed fantasy drafting back in the day. I been out of the loop since 2008-2009 so I really be wondering which sports game has the best franchise mode? I don't like soccer or hockey so I'd enjoy football, basketball, or baseball the most. Thanks

2K on switch is pretty damn deep. I'd say The Show or Madden after that. That's just me though.

NBA 2K23
NHL 23 (yes, NHL, franchise mode is really good)
Madden 23
MLB 23

I'd say pick between NBA and MLB, menus etc super smooth to navigate and sims super quick. NHL and Madden sims are clunky.

Out of the Park Baseball. There isn't a close 2nd. Surreal the depth that game has.

Honorable mention to Head Coach 09. But the graphics really ruin the experience now.

Always the latest Madden for me, followed by the final NCAA Football installment.

It would be OOTP without question, but you said PS5 so it has to be NBA 2k and it isn't really close. None of the other sports titles on console have half the content 2k has put into their game.

After that, Madden would probably be 2nd best, imo, then NHL, then The Show. I can't comment on Fifa since I don't play it regularly, or whatever it's called now.

2k is hands down the top dog and after that Madden and NHL are 2a and 2b. Then The Show would hobble on in at 3rd.

Madden and MLB suit my franchise needs just fine, but yeah, it's NBA 2K and it's not particularly close.

I can't really decide between NBA2K, EA CFB and MLB The Show.
The only thing I can decide, whatever the ranking is, Madden is the clear cellar dweller IMO.
