No DHL? DHL is Airborne Express.

It's pretty reliable.

what the hell is dhl? i looked on their website and they looked like a bunch of guys in chicken costumes. whatever happened to using fed ex, ups, or the united states postal service? needless to say, i don't have a lot of trust in this dhl company getting my package there, but if microsoft uses them i guess they're okay. we'll see...

well it's going to be wierd not playing any video games while waiting, but at least i'll be too drunk on new years to care. damn... i really wanted to play doa tomorrow too... oh well...

it's been real 360... can't wait to see you again.
I heard that DHL subcontracts to other shipping companies if they dont ship to your area. Mainly its the USPS.

I would either call or go into the main post office near you and ask

Yeah, DHL doesn't deliever down in rural SW VA, so my mother, the rural mail carrier, often delivers their packages.

Re: Buddy Knox Mourns 360 Death :(

Too bad I didn't see this thread earlier. I had this happen to me the first time I tried it. I actually dont remember how many lights were blinking but I was very mad and scared. I tried reconnecting all my cords in the back and such and nothing worked, I then switched the outlet I had it plugged into and it fired right up. I had used the previous outlet for my xbox and never had a problem with it. I plugged a few thing in and they worked fine but for some reason, the 360 wouldn't work in it. Idk, yours could have a completely different problem.

Hopefully your new one will work. I just thought I'd throw this out there in case your new one doesn't work. Hope you can find a way to cope in your time of loss.

Re: Buddy Knox Mourns 360 Death :(

yeah man, a friend of mine with a similar problem said that his was caused by his plugs not being in all the way. so i tried reconnecting everything, switching oulets, etc, but it still gave me the red lights. every now and then it would work for a while, but then it would freeze and the process would start over. yeah man this is a ****ty time to not be able to play, but i figure i'll be drunk tomorrow night and then i have a ppv to watch on sunday so hopefully that will make the time go by a bit quicker. still sucks though lol.

Re: Buddy Knox Mourns 360 Death :(

i'm going through 360 withdrawal.

i have DOA sitting here ready to be fired up, but no 360 to play it on.

so sad, so sad.

i spoke to the microsoft people today and they said that they recieved my 360. however, the person on the phone said the turnaround time could be anywhere from 3 days to 3 weeks. what the **** kind of time frame is that?! i wanna cry

someone in this thread mentioned that they sent theirs off to microsoft as well... have you recieved it back yet? if so, how long did it take?
