LOL... I have a massive wingspan man...

But seriously, I set the LCD on the stand... and as soon as I did that, I went to pick up the 360 again, as I set it right beside... one of the shelves started to fall, and in my rush to try to stop it from falling, the 360 tumbled right outta my hand, thus causing the enormous THUD that was heard, lol.

I'd say horizontal. When mines was vertical, it would have problems with the disc tray opening.

My brother just buried his third one. I can't believe my launch system is still working. My replacement warranty has expired. If my system dies, I won't buy another.
