I have the HDMI for the ps3,and have the ps3 hooked up on my tv,but from time to time,I move it and play on a 22in monitor that has component ,I bought the 15 dollar ps2 componet, and picture is decent, but was wondering would the monster component cables be any better? any one have the monster component for ps3? or is component component?

Nope, Monster is just an expensive brand name, nothing special about their cables at all.

I would just buy the Sony PS2 Component Cables, their the best ones around. Monster is too much money.

Re: ps3 cables

I got the monster cable for ps2, luckily I got them with a best buy discount and they were only like $25. Monster stuff is ALL name, I saw a monster optical audio cable for $30 when any other name brand is under $10

Re: ps3 cables

Plenty of PS3 Monster cables on eBay by a company called Trading Circuit for $20. Not a bad deal.

At that price I can justify buying the Monster Cables, but anything higher than $25-$30 imo you are ripping yourself off.
