So my girlfriend occasionally plays videogames and I thought it might be a good gift if I gave her a Nintendo DS Lite. Is it a quality system? I think pk is the guy that is very avid about the DS. I was wondering how good the system is, what games I might want to consider (especially for a girl...puzzle games, Mario, Mario Kart, etc.) and whether or not it'd be worth a purchase.

My wife is hooked to her DS. Favorite games of hers: Brain Age, Mario Kart, New Super Mario Bros., Elite Beat Agents, Trauma Center, Cooking Mama (she bought herself and is hooked).

I think the best bets for games are the ones that take advantage of the stylus the most.

Yeah I bought my girlfriend a pink DS for christmas, you cant go wrong with anything mario, yoshi's island, the phoenix wright games, Lost in Blue, Elite Beats, Trauma Center.............. I could go on for awhile.
