Xbox 360 problem/might be a stupid question

I got a 360 about a month ago and every time I start it up it does not show up on the screen. I have to shut it off and turn it back on and it starts running correctly. Is this something that anyone else has experienced or am I doing something wrong?

I would re-seat the AV cable in the back of the 360. If the problem continues take it back to the store get another one because that doesn't sound right.

The lights just spin on the controller and no lights lit up on the console either besides the main light on the on switch...this is starting to worry me.

I shut it off and turn it back on and it is fine and dandy

Replace it while you can and buy a store extended warranty.

It has happened to me in the past as well, but re-seating the AV cable solved my problem.

I have had this problem also. Since I was still under manufacturers warranty, I just returned it to Best Buy with no hassles and got a new one without having to buy another extended warranty.
