I got a PS3 at my house right now. It's owned by me and a friend. I also have a 360 and a wii as well. I hate the wii, I just bought into the hype. And right now, I dont own any PS3 games. Me and my friend just play WE PES07 on it (the ps2 version cause the 360 version sucks).

The point is that if you own a 360, you don't need a PS3, and vice versa. I got one at launch just because the PS3 was rumored to be more expensive. But let's analyze it a little more thoroughly.

In CDN $$

360- 499.99
mem card- 49.99
transfer kit- 21.99
xport- 59.99
wireless internet- 129.99
hd dvd played- 199.99

-without games and
controllers that's already
over 1400 with taxes

PS3
60 GB system 786 (with taxes)

then controllers and games

so, its essenctially 786, with taxes,
for EVERYTHING i bought for the 360
that equalled over 1400

I might buy the PS3 off my buddy, not sure though since I already have so many 360 games. Maybe if I can sell it, not sure
