1 Up Yours is hands down the best gaming podcast out there.
The latest one might be the GOAT.

N'Gai from Newsweek dropped in and he had a ton of information (he needs to appear more often).

- EA is making an exclusive rhythm game that will also make use of a microphone for the Wii. It's being developed by EA Montreal. He said it looks "hot" and has a lot of potential.The game is under embargo right now so I'm surprised he even mentioned it.

- When talking about the terrible 3rd party support the Wii is recieving, Miyamoto told him 3rd and 4th string teams are making 3rd party games for the Wii and this is a problem.

If you're a Wii only owner you have to be concerned. The Wii is being grouped with the PS2 and PSP. Publishers are simply making Wii-makes and porting games from the PS2 to the Wii (i.e MoH Vanguard, PoP, MK, Driver, Manhunt 2, Far Cry, Spiderman 3, Scarface, Godfather, etc..)

They talked about how Nintendo does very little to support 3rd Parties whereas Microsoft goes all out to help them. They speculated Microsoft helped Capcom pay part of the 20 million they used to advertise the game.

- M-06 is coming to the DS this summer. It's going to be re-named Jam Sessions and will be published by Ubisoft. If you like Guitar Hero, you'll probably love this game. The game is basically an acoustic guitar.

- The guys that left Clover Studios to form Seeds will be bringing their new game to the 360 only. Once again Microsoft stepped up the plate and is willing to spend money to secure exclusives and bring games that previously only appeared on a Sony platform.

- Funniest moment was when Luke Smith ripped into the guy that called the Wii a piece of ****. He basically said one day he was a man and the next day he became a vagina with a mouth. LOL!

Everybody liked Little Big Planet and saw potential in Home. They're worried about the number of ads you might see. They're also wondering if Sony is going to restrict what kind of videos and pictures you can show.

agreed. 1up crew does a great job with their 1up yours podcast and 1up show.

I'll agree also. 1up has a great group of reporters working for them. The 1 1/2 to 2 hour weekly podcasts they do never seem to get boring. They even did A 3 hour podcast a few weeks ago with a grilling interview to the guy who is the head of FASA studios that was awesome. It was like prog-rock but not as pretentious

I agree too...I actually find myself looking forward to Fridays to download the podcast..than I can "geek out" in my car all weekend listening to it

edit: btw, EGM podcast just came out and they have the guy thats making Too Human on and they get into a pretty heated conversation

Agreed, and your not alone. I love the 1up podcast, listen to it every week. I stumbled upon it 4-5 months ago and I've been hooked ever since. Their GDC coverage was great because it meant more podcasts for us, lol.
