Yep and unfortunately there is no word when they will start registration. And I believe they are only accepting 15,000 for the April beta so check back often.

It's official, specs have been released.... it will cost $479

I will definitely be playing the waiting game, for one, how hard, if even possible, is it to transfer my HDD to the new one. Secondly, will they release a seperate HDMI cable for the current system? That's all I really care about, as I've realized that I'll never fill a 20 Gig HDD on the current system. Plus, my HD-DVD drive is white, the fact that I would have to buy a new one of those as well..no thanks. I actually like the white 360, think it looks better.

Adding, $479 is way overpriced. It's $80 more for a bigger HDD...that's really it. HDMI port as well, but if it's not going to upconvert DVD's anyway, won't matter to me.

No one knows, but to me, it sounds like the same system, black case, and an HDMI out cable. The HDD is bigger, but is being sold seperately.
