Re: PSP Lifespan

I wanted to get it and play it, but I hear there's a game-killing glitch in it when rushing the ball.

They corrected it... they released newer copies with the glitched fixed. Havent seen it at all. This is actually the only game I actually went out and purchased since the Custom Firmware

I haven't yet seen if NCAA '08 is coming out for the PSP? I've noticed it hasn't been mentioned as a platform for release this summer? That would be a big disappointment. I bought a PSP at launch but sold it a year ago, only to re-acquire one as my job saw more and more travel combined with NCAA and also a much better version of Madden came out. Fingers crossed for NCAA '08!

Re: PSP Lifespan

What is the custom firmware? Is it something you have to download? I want to get a PSP but just for one player(myself). Is it worth it and what do i need to buy with it? Thanks.

Custom firmware refers to Homebrew as in downloadable games for the PSP by alternative means.

IMO the PSP is very sweet and I play it more than my DS Lite now. The best deal right now and has been for a while is the Value Pack which comes with a free game, movie, and 1 gig memory card for $219.
