Thinking about trading in my PS3 and 360

Does anyone know if you can trade both systems in for the Elite at either Gamestop or EB?

I know i could just call them, but honestly, I hate talking to any of the employees a these stores. So annoying.

Also, i'm hearing that it can be difficult to transfer from the 20 gb hd to the 120 gb hd.

Does the same hold true if I put all my game saves on a memory card and not even bother with the transfer?

What about XBLA arcade games and other things like game trailers. Can I just redownload this stuff I paid for, for free on the 120 gig?

why get raped at Gamestop when you could jjust sell them on ebay or craigslist and get more than trade in value

Dude - you're ripping yourself off trading in two systems for a system you essentially already own. The Elite may have a bigger HDD and HDMI, but unless you need the extra memory, I'd keep what you have now....it's not worth it

Yea, i know it's not the smartest thing to do value/money wise....honestly i just don't play the ps3 or use it at all.....my gaming interests are fairly limited...the ps3 was a total impulse buy....and i'm worried about my existing 360 crapping out on me since it's a launch system...

maybe i will try ebay.

But, the Elite is the exact same system as your launch system.

I guess I just don't get it..... I would keep the PS3 and ditch the 360 if it was me.

I get paranoid about my launch 360 going out on me and i've had it for a year and a half. It still works as good as the day I got it. I'll buy another one when my current one quits. Hopefully if and when it breaks I hope it's when MS starts using the new 65nm CPU's which looks like later this year.

I would sell the PS3 if you're not using it and keep the 360 until it breaks. If it breaks EB will take it in on trade as they rarely test systems that are traded in. Unless you tell them it's broken.

the elite is exactly the same as the other 360's but with the obvious features included. It has as much of a chance to crap out as the one you already have.
