my tv's native resolution is 1080p. My 360 is set to 1080i. TV can only do 1080p through HDMI.

I had the same problem, but I tinkered with my TV a little bit and solved the problem. Here's what I have/settings I'm using...


Polaroid 32'' Widescreen LCD HDTV
VGA Cables
1920x1080 Resolution Setting(Not sure if that's truly 1080p, don't care though)
Expanded(Makes the colors look a lot better IMO)

I must say, I was astonished in the difference in picture quality. Well worth the 40 bones. Games look fantastic IMO.
