Xbox 360 Premium confirmed shipping with HDMI

Considering you went and bought a brand new 360, when you were getting another 360 back from MS. Own 2 big screen HDTV's that you've bought in the last year, I don't think you paying 200 bucks for something is something you have to worry about it is it?

A core gets like $150, which will probably see or saw a drop already of 10-20 bucks. The 20 gig HDD is like 25 - 30 bucks in trade.

Basically, after seeing you have post after post when everyone got NCAA early and you were pissed. Then seeing post after post about you wanting to be a mod. Now seeing 3 posts already about how pissed you are at MS over the HDMI thing, that gets old after awhile as well.

I just traded in my 360 on Saturday to get an Elite, here's what I got:

System: $130
Hard Drive: $15
Controller: $18
Remote: $4 (I thought the Elite came with a remote, but it didn't)

I don't know how you get your normal games...I assumed you bought them.

I'm curious about the 10,000 points though. Were there disc drive issues or some other non-RROD stuff?

I also bought the Core before the warranty extension went out, from what I knew it was only a one year deal and I was beyond it. The second big screen was bought 16 months after the first and that first one is being replaced for a smaller set by Best Buy after warranty issues.

I guess we should just settle it with pistols at dawn...geez!

EDIT: It was a couple posts MAX about NCAA, one with anger. The mod thing is a bit confusing but hey, I'll live. To make me out as a huge agitator just seems a bit unfair.

The points thing is easy... but it took me over a month. You would need a store warranty though.

When my first 360 died, I called and complained about not being able to play my games offline that I had bought. I also said my wife has a silver and can't play the games either now. After getting up the food chain, they sent me eight 1600 point cards. It won't work from MS, I don't know anyone who got as sweet a deal as I did. But I know of several people with store warranties that were able to get the same if not better deal that I did. Took me about 3 hours of phone calls and 4 faxes (receipts).

So...it seems pretty simple to spot out the new premiums with the 65nm chips because the box will now have an hdmi logo on it (so i've read).

Anyways.....how will we be able to tell if the new elite's will have the new chips in them since they already had hdmi in them ???

Anyone know ???
