I believe backbreaker's PS3 has been running straight for months now.

I think I remember seeing him post somewhere where he says when he ain't watching movies or playing games he is running Folding at Home.

Re: How to kill a PS3 console....

Yeah, at another forum there was a thread about what you should do when you're not playing, and a lot of people say they've had it on since they bought it. One of the guys quoted an email from a Sony customer service rep and the chick said outright, 'the system is designed to stay on all the time'.

I still can't bring myself to leave it on, but that's very comforting to know.

How on god's earth are people still buying 360s, for like the 8th time?

Sony needs to get their marketing department off their behinds and start taking advantage of what SHOULD be a market-changing superiority in reliability. Not to mention quality.

This is like Kevlar not mentioning that it stops bullets better than Cotton.

Would you expect him to say anything other than that?

Because just like the PS2 it has the best games and XBL is the best. When the 360 is working nothing comes close to delivering the total package. Some recognize this and are willing to put up with the unreliability of the system.
