Refurbed Premium system.....???

Would anyone consider buying a refurbed system by a company offering a 2 year ($26) or 4 year ($50) warranty plan? The details (w/ XBox Live Silver) include:

Those warranties look good but it all depends on how much the system cost.

$277.95 If it's truly refurbed, I'm guessing they'll do their own repairs/replacements. I can't imaging MS messing with any refurb models.

I finally reached someone in customer service and they said that MS still honors the 90 warranty. The 2 or 4 year extended is something through CPS (Consumer Priority Service, which I'm not familiar with. This one has me thinking..... but the Elites are looking nice too.

Well....I just did this (it was basically for my kid's birthday present) with the 4 year deal. I'll let you guys know how it turns out. Now, I'm hoping the overheating issues don't arise. I'm looking for the best cooling options, sans the one the kid in North Carolina opted for using water!! Ouch!

My only concern would be that you don't know how reputable the company is. You can buy the 4 year plan and they can be out of business by the time your console were to break.
