Circuit city 360 warranty

Ok my 360 is going out but the 3 red lights. So i'm just going to buy another one but i can only get it at CC. So anyone that got one from there will tell me how he warranty is? Is it like best buys replacemeant plan?

C.C. Tries to fix everything first.
They only replace it IF they have too. That IF is a strong one as well.
C.C. recently settled a class action lawsuit over the "warranty" program there.
So proceed with caution.

I had the CC 360 warranty and they had me send it in and they sent me a gift card for the exact amount i paid for the 360 plus tax. took 2 weeks

That sounds pretty garbage. I don't understand the point of an in-store warranty if you still have to ship something off and wait.

Yeah it sucks especially since i found out that best buy just replace them on the spot. but its better than sending it back to Microsoft and waiting a month to send a refurbish one back. At least i get to go buy a brand new one and with the price cut i will make the money i made back from buying the warranty.

Yes that defeats the entire purpose of an in-store warranty, LOL!

The difference is that you get the gift card, plus tax and can spend it on anything you want.

Granted you'll just pick up a new 360, but you can use the money towards an elite, etc. So if the price drops $100 you still get your full purchase price back.

Best buy will give you the same deal with their warranty on the spot. No need to wait two weeks or any amount of time.
