Best Buy PRP for RROD?

I inquired about perhaps replacing my 360 (which by the way is working, but I didn't tell the sales rep on the phone) for a PS3. He said you'd have to send the 360 in to the address on the back of the PRP form, and they'll mail you out a gift card. Now, I'm not looking to take advantage of this just yet. I purchased my 360 from there in September of this year, but I might get the itch to do it come March or April when The Show releases. My question however is whether or not they actually test the system when you send it in? If they see that it is fully functional, then will I still be able to return it for a gift card?

I used the PRP and like the others, it worked just fine. I went in, they let me swap the hard drive and I was on my way. Definetly the way to go IMO.

lol when I first brought my old system in, I didn't even bring in the HD I just kept it. BB didn't even open the box to check to see what was in it.
