It's so addictive. I've played well over a half of a manager mode season in the three weeks that I've played it. it's just so easy to pick up and play. I'd also recommend Hot Shots to anyone. It's cheap and a whole heck of a lot of fun.

Anybody picked up any new games or tried out any older games they can recommend? I'm contemplating buying a PSP now...

Hot Shots golf is pretty cool.

The games that I played the heck out of and would definitely recommend are:

Hot Shots Golf (Hopefully a new one comes out this year!)
MLB The Show (Had the first one, will buy 08 this year)
Puzzle Quest (RPG Bejeweled, surely everyone knows how awesome this game is by now?)
Final Fantasy: Tactics (Had to relive the glory days of this from PSOne)
Jeanne D'Arc (Another tactical RPG, much better graphics/story than FF:T)

I'm hoping that NCAA 09 (ebgames/gamestop showing it will be out this year) will be better than 07, didn't buy it because of the running game and other bugs. Tempted to buy Madden 08 based on rec's from this thread, but I haven't gotten into a Madden game in years.

Other games I'm looking forward to this year are:
FF VII: Crisis Core
Maybe Tiger Woods (bought the first one and promptly returned it, load times were horrific)
Maybe Gods of War: Chains of Olympus

All of the games Jaskerr stated are very good (love Jeanne D Arc, Puzzle Quest, and the Show). Syphon Filter Logan's Shadow is great. I also love Silent Hill and Castlevania - pick them up if you like those franchises.

NCAA Football is an absolute blast. So is *shocker* Madden.

I haven't played NCAA and you guys won't believe this coming from me, but I really liked Madden on the PSP. The challenges are good and the franchise mode is top notch (and there's not that many fumbles or interceptions)
