Best Buy Warranty

I got the extended Best Buy Warranty last year for my PS3. I thought when I got it the manager that was checking me through at the service desk said that I could return it for any reason.

My X button on my gamepad is sticking and its very annoying. Does that fall under the warranty? Could I return my gamepad for a new one even though it was bundled with my PS3?

My warranty will be 1 year in Febuary, however the warranty I purchased extends that to 3 years (I believe)

I think you have to bring the whole system back, but I would call first.

yes, you can return it for that, but you have to bring the whole console back. I wouldn't burn the 1 time warranty on just the controller anyways, might as well get a shiny new ps3 out of the swap too.

You have to buy a new plan for the next one anyways.

Thanks, I got 2 Sony Sixaxis controllers (for Christmas) on Thanksgiving for 19.99/ea so I wont waste the warranty on a sticky button. Ill just live with it until Christmas day.
