PS3: Best Headset/Bang for the Buck (Help Please)

Howdy y'all. I'm looking at getting a headset to play Team Fortress 2 and the upcoming SOCOM games for the PS3, but I'm at a loss as to which headset to pick up. Some say ANY bluetooth compatible headset would work, others say some aren't compatible (I have checked the Wikipedia list). I really don't care if it's USB or bluetooth, so long as it works, and doesn't break/have durability or performance issues.

Since I'm not *huge* into online gaming, I'd like to keep it in a decent budget range from $20 to $35 if possible, but I'll go higher. The key is that it isn't a piece of junk and will stop working (like I've read some of the third party mics do).

The #1 candidate at this point is Logitech's PS2/PS3 USB headset. Maybe it's a bit utilitarian, but it has the volume control and such, and a 10 ft. USB cable. It seems to work relatively flawlessly from a compatibility standpoint, from what I've read.

I've also been looking at a Jabra model on sale at Best Buy this week (BT2040) which is bluetooth and wireless, but the sound quality is not very good, and there is no volume controls. Plus, it uses a funked up battery type (AAAA).

Anyways, I'd really appreciate some recommendations, especially on reliability, performance, and durability. Any help you guys could offer would be most appreciated!

Thanks,
DJ

Does Warhawk still come with one? Is that one any quality or no?

Warhawk comes with the Jabra bt125. I have a Jabra bt150 that I use and it seems to do a good job for me. Since you saw the list on Wiki, I think you know what are the best bluetooths for the ps3. The logitech still works good if you don't mind the wires.

Thanks guys. I think I'm going to stick with the Logitech, it seems to have the best overall performance and reliability, and I'm not one for trial-and-error with bluetooth (a technology I'm not entirely familiar with). Thanks for your help!

i recommend wired usb headsets at this point like the logitech one you mentioned. Many of the bluetooth users have constant static when they are talking unless you buy a really high quality one(which you definitely cant get for$35)
