Question about Hard Drive and Charge and play kit

I just got my Halo edition X-Box 360 after getting the RROD a few days ago....and it came with the Charge and Play Kit...

i may be just incredibly slow but how the heck do you use that thing? what does it do?

i also had a quesiton about the hard drive.. I tried to put my old hard drive in my new xbox and it wont even turn on with it in there..is it not compatible w\ the halo edition?

thanks....

Re: Question about Hard Drive and Charge and play kit

you plug the charge and play kit into the usb port of the 360, then attach the controller to that. It'll let you play the wireless controller like a wired one, while it charges at the same time.

It's basically the same thing as the cable that comes with the ps3 controllers, except it costs $20.
