HD Question for 360 & PS3

Hey guys. I'm thinking of buying a HD tv for my 360 and PS3 and need to know what I need to buy with it to get the most out of my systems in high def and how much it will cost me? I found a really good deal on a 20", flat screen, hd tv at Sam's today and I'm probably going to go back and pick it up later this evening. Right now I have my PS3, Xbox 360, and PS2 all hooked into my standard def tv using one of the game routers that allow to hook 4 or 5 up to the same tv and then just hit a button on the router to change to which one you want to play. Thanks.

get something that has several HDMI connections. 1 for your PS3, 1 for your 360 (if it is an elite or newer premium).

The tv has 2 HDMI inputs. What types of cables do I need to buy?

and HDMI cable for your PS3. Does your 360 have an HDMI connection ? If so then get 2 HDMI cables. You can pick one up at Wal Mart fairly cheap.

Re: HD Question for 360 & PS3

You don't need the $80 cable either. It's been proven that the $10 name brand cables perform exactly the same as the $80 monster cables.

At 20", you won't be able to tell the difference between HDMI and component anyways, so don't go trade in for an elite if you have a normal 360.

Can you link us to the tv?

Yeah, I just have a regular 360, not an Elite. I'll look for it on the website and try.

Try the link above. It's a 19" Westinghouse LCD HDTV. I'm picking the tv up after work today and it's actually on sale for $259 at the store. Thanks for your help.

I guess I'm too late, but my advice is to not waste your time on a 20" TV even if it is HD. The bigger the better. What is your budget? If you don't have the cash to get anything bigger than 20", wait until you do, then make the plunge.

At that size, I don't think you're going to see all that huge of a difference. HD is meant for large TV sizes.
