Thinking about selling my 360 and getting a Wii...

Well that day has arrived and today is a bit rough on me. I should probably steer clear of the boards for the remainder of the week so I don't torture myself.

why don't you just buy it for the Wii?

I'll definitely rent it and see how it is, of course it'll be very different from the PS3/360 version. That ball trail MUST go.

I finally played NCAA '09 on 360 for the first time tonight, the graphics are so beautiful and the controls seem very improved over '08.

I'm going to wait and see how the patch turns out and how much it effects the game. If the patch does for '09 what the CH2K8 patch did for that game, I may be putting together some numbers and looking to eBay away my Wii and look into a PS3.

I told myself I wouldn't do this.

LOL.... I heard that in my head so many... I think your would be making a great choice with the PS3.Even without the patch right now the game is great IMO.

So I finally mentioned the idea of selling the Wii to the wifey last night and she got pretty upset about, said how much she loved it, etc. This was before I told her why I wanted to sell it (to put the money towards a PS3).

So then I told her that was the plan and she said, "Well, why don't you just go buy a PS3 and keep the Wii?"

Considering we're saving up to buy a home I never thought she'd say that.

I'll probably still hold off for a little bit, I'm not positive I want to spend another $500 on video games. I may wait until after Madden drops and see how everyone likes that game.

I definitely think you should keep the Wii, and save up for a PS3 to go along side it. You have seemed to be getting a lot of enjoyment out of the Wii and I don't think you should drop it for a system that you aren't sure you want just for a couple sports games that they make every year.
