OK. Cheap may have been a bad choice of words. The only point that I am trying to get across is that with a PS3, you get two completely different functioning components in a system for the price of either 1 game system or 1 blu-ray player.

I agree that blu-ray is overpriced at the moment. but if you want one now, the PS3 seems to be the way to go.

I loved God of War, played HS and didnt like it. I loved 2 ps3 games (Uncharted and the Show) and loved the fact that I could play Ps2 games i missed but inorder to do that you have to pay 100 bucks more.

Out of that list, I found Mass Effect, Bioshock, Forza2 and PGR (3 and 4) and Splinter CellA all top shelf games absolutely worth playing. I haven't had time to try some of the others.

It's banjo kazooie. While that was a fun franchise on the n64, Rare has taken a noticable step back since then. Honestly, it doesn't matter if the games are 5 star. How many 5 star titles did the first xbox have, or even the ps2 really. Only a handful of games can be considered 5 star. The 360 had a few of them last holiday.

The 360 has more variety of games right now. I own almost 10 ps3 games, but those are pretty much the only ones worth owning right now. The games argument is a bad one to try to use against the 360 or to make the ps3 look better.

Hmm, while some in here are bitching, why don't you better spend your time breaking down where some of us can get a new PS3 for under $400 That would help so that I can buy that one game of baseball to play.

What didn't you like about Heavenly sword? It seems to me to take all of GoW's gameplay elements and incorporate it into a different story.

I'm not into the whole PS3/Xbox360 games thing. You can easily find great titles for both systems if you look. But I still say we saw a better variety of 5 star titles in the PS2/Xbox era than we're currently getting now.

Fable, KOTOR, Battlefront, Metal Gear Solid, FF, GoW, GT, Devil May Cry, RE4, Jak and Daxter/R&C, Socom... I can keep going on and on....
