It also seems my old xbl account is still tied to my email when I log into the site. I still have a 14k+ gamescore. I figured the tag would go back into the wild when you cancel.

Nah, you own it forever I believe.

StripClubDJ hasn't had his own account in over a year, he got hacked, and could never get it back. So that's not really his gamerscore going bye bye. From all I've ever read, he got the first 50K on his own, the last 200K or whatever he had, was done by whoever hacked his account.

He never got hacked. He was trying to sell his Gamertag for the last couple months at numerous forums. Back in Dec. MS banned his account. But he could still hack the account and upload his score to the XBL servers.

He is also suspected of having another account that he hacked over from this one which oddly enough has the same exact score and games.

Seriously I can at least understand why someone would do that, but an XBL account. I suppose if you just had to have that name it would be one thing, but other than that (and that was a stretch) I just don't see why someone would.
