Best Buy Product Replacement Plan Question?

On Best Buy's PRP is this a simple system exchange or can you get a bundle package? Thinking of taking my PS3 back for controller sync issues, and was wondering if I should wait until the 80 gig MGS4 bundle hits the shelves or just go get the 40 gig and get a $200 gift card with it. I dont care for backward compatability, and do the current 40 gig have problems with the Blu-Ray drive and do the current 40 gigs have the new chip set in them?

the main thing with the best buy replacement plans is that now you should ask if they allow returns in the store. A lot of stores quit doing them in store, because people were abusing it. Now you have to go on their website or call a number. They then want you to send it in, they send back a card with the value of the item on it.

That happened to me when my 360 died, and it took me about 2 months to get back up and running. It was a major pain. So definitely find out if you can return in-store.
