If you have a need for a second or third Wiimote, I recommend this:

http://www.amazon.com/Wii-Play-with-...=operasport-20

Wii play is definately worth the extra 10 bucks, and my two five year olds(and myself)got good use out of it.

Right now the entire family is getting our money's worth out of Mario Kart. Online play is great. A must buy IMO.

The answer to your question...."I got the Wii, now what?"...

Go crazy with it for like a month...have a lot of fun(as long as you're playing it with others) and then totally ignore it and go back to a "real" console like the rest of the world.

Re: I got the Wii, now what?

it's fun as hell.

i recommend PES, Mario Kart, Power Pros, and Tiger '08.

The wii is great for tiger woods, i've had a lot of fun creating a crazy looking dude with a messed up swing and going on the PGA tour with him. more fun when you're actually swinging a remote instead of pressing buttons. 2007 sucked by 2008 is the most fun golf game i've played.

Did they fix the putting? I couldn't stand 2007 because once you got on the green it was near impossible. Is 2008 anything like Wii Sports golf?

I long for a game that's a little better than Wii Sports golf but with that type of swing...I just don't think it let you vary your power well, it seemed tough to dial anything in. That would be great though!

I'm also interested in Top Spin for Wii. I'm interested in the 360/PS3 version too, but the Wii one might be more fun.

i remember going nuts with 2007 because of the putting. i haven't had any trouble with it this year, however.

it can be tough at times, but i've played with a few friends who were total n00bs at this game and they did pretty well. i've gotten to the point where i have the hang of it and prefer it to wii sports golf. i traded in 2007 after playing for about an hour because of all the problems it had.

give it a rent.
