Just picked up a Linksys WRT54GS. Didn't necessarily get it for gaming but it's a plus. I sure hope that I don't have any issues.

anyone got any takes if i should go with the airport extreme or the new gaming router from dlink which i think is the dgl 4500. I'm more concerned with speed and stablity the router would have to be upstairs since thats where my cable modem is and my 360 and PS3 are downstairs. I know my 360 doesnt take long to download things but when i have to get a PS3 update it takes years basically.

I downloaded an update for the PS3 and the demo of NCAA 09 and it didn't seem to take very long to me. I was doing other things while it was downloading so that could be a reason why it didn't seem to take long.
