Need help deciding:Ps3 Or 360 Please help

1) PS3 has a hard drive (40 or 80 GB depending on which model you buy, it says on box)

2) You can use a regular old thumb drive and d/l files on your PC, save to thumb drive and put in USB slot on PC and voila its done (alot less complicated imo)

3) Online is free and its reliable but XBL is much better

I bought my PS3 in January and I love it. The main reason I chose PS3 was the the unreliability of the 360. I knew 5 people that had XBOX's, and 4 had to be sent back to MS.

To the original poster, the newer 360's are supposedly pretty reliable, and although Sony has a few really awesome exclusives, the 360 still has the better game library and online service. Bluray, built in wi-fi, the ability to use a 3rd party HD, and a quieter drive make PS3 the better hardware, but you can't "play" hardware. Considering gaming alone, I'd recommend 360, but the overall PS3 package is probably the better value. It's a tough choice...but if I were you Id cop a....

Basically, it comes down to which first party developer games you prefer. I have both but Sony does have better first party development teams.

I'll never forgive Marvel/MS for canceling that Marvel Online game. Oh well, at least Sony is still going with their DC game.

I had a 360 then it died and i sold it once it came back from ms and bought a ps3. I'd say if you have a 360 and there's nothing wrong with it i probably wouldn't get rid of it just to get a ps3. If you have neither and are trying to decide i'd definitely get a ps3. It seems like things on the ps3 are just getting better and better while the 360 is pretty much tapped out. The ps3 still has a ways to go before it hits it's peak.

The ps3 is way more reliable than the 360 as well. If you pay 3 or 4 hundred bucks for a console you shouldn't have to worry about if it is going to break. I love the blu ray too that's what really puts the ps3 over the top for me considering a blu ray player alone costs about 300 bucks at least.

I think all things considered the ps3 is the way to go but i wouldn't get rid of a 360 just yet unless it's had problems or you just have 400 bucks sitting around to spend.

I got a 360 yesterday and I'm taking it back today. I don't think I can adequately express just how loud that thing is. Its comparable to a FA-18 jet at full afterburner.
