Connecting PS3 to computer monitor
I have attempted to hook my PS3 to my computer monitor with a HDMI/DVI cable. I can't get a picture, and there are no options on the monitor that seem to work.

Anyone have an idea, or have gotten this hookup to work? Thanks.

Was the PS3 set to display from the HDMI port before you did this?

Yeah, it was hooked up to my plasma via the HDMI. You probably have to switch it to DVI before connecting over to the monitor, huh?

That's what I was thinking but I'm not too familiar with hooking it up this way. Let me know if it works out.

You need to have an HDCP compliant monitor.

Yeah, that is it. My monitor is not compliant according to the list on the PS3 site. Thanks for the insight.
