if your an online gamer and prefer 360 exclusives over ps3 or dont care about exclusives,stay with 360.

if you are a movie fan and not much of an online gamer,go ps3.

Sorry, I really should have given more information.

Basically, I'm mostly an offline player, but I will play something like Halo online. However, if the end of online games came tommorow, it would not effect me one bit.

The 3 exclusives I loved on the 360 were Mass Effect, Test Drive Unlimited and Halo. I also like Forza but GT5 will be 3 times the game of it. There's also MGS4 which looks like a very good game.

I usually pop in a DVD on my 360 to help me fall asleep. So yes, I would fully use the PS3's movie abilities.

Plus, ALL my friends have PS3's. I wouldn't buy something because of what my friends have, but if I can play together with them, it's an added bonus.

Is it true that Blue Ray will be finished in 4-5 years though?

Anyway, more advice on what to do would be much appreciated.

By the way, the PS3 is region free right? Meaning I can buy games in the US, and play them in the UK?

yea ps3 is region free.since you are not an online gamer and ps3 has better exclusives,id say go ps3.its a plus with the blu ray and you have more friends on the ps3.Plus if you want to play online every now and then,like it looks like you probly do,you wont have to pay money for online like xbox 360.

Well PS3 will be finished in 4-5 years as well. Anyway, I'd tell you to do it as well, the deciding factor being most of your friends having PS3s. Most of mine have 360s and the reason for that is because most of their friends have 360s as well. So you can borrow games and hardware as well.
