Yes, they said all themes and wallpapers work with the new NXE as they would with the old.

Thats good, because all the vids Ive seen of the NXE have the plain green backgrounds which dont look to nice. If you can throw up a nice wallpaper behind those new "blades" they have it will look pretty sweet.

yeah, MS at work here.

They've been planning this for awhile, and every 360 connected to the internet will be required to download a 128 MB file on nov. 19th. It would have been cool if they had done a few smaller updates that put the majority of files out without allowing the new dashboard to take over until they flipped the switch. Seems like that would have been a much cleaner launch.
