Re: Rechargable Battery Pack for 360 Problem

I love the rechargeable batteries and haven't had any problems so far, its been over a year. I just ordered another spare one. You know they don't last forever.

By the way I don't recharge them till they are totally dead and I do store them on the charger.

Re: Rechargable Battery Pack for 360 Problem

Hey guys, Rule of Thumb for those electrical devices that have rechargeable batteries.

First rule is to always fully charge the battery before using. This "tells" the battery how much charge it actually needs. I'm sure you all know this one.

Second rule is that the first few times you want to re-charge it, don't. Rechargeable batteries work 10x better when you fully discharge the battery a few times before fully charging back up. So basically, if you still have 3 bars out of the 4 left on your battery, keep playing it so it completely discharges. Then charge it for a complete day. Once again, this helps "tell" the battery how much charge it really needs.

This is a proven fact with cell phones and other rechargable batteries. If you follow these rules, you will rarely have any battery problems.
