I haven't played any 2006 sports games in awhile or Avatar at all, but I did get that doritos game on Live. I would have never tried as hard for the CoD4 Mile High Club achievement if it were just for something in the game. When it unlocked, I knew it was going to be one of those achievements that says you are awesome.

I have read that there's enough easy games out now to easily get 100k legit in a few weeks if you really, really wanted it. I only have mine up to 45k since I got it in 2007, and some of my points were unlocked by my roommate playing games like LOTR or Marvel:UA. So I guess there are achievement addicts and achievement whores. Why have 100k if it's all barbie horse games or whatever. Awesome games like Fallout, Mass Effect, and Oblivion can eat up 100 hours each just to get to 1000 before you touch the DLC.

I used to not play for achievements. I don't go out of my way for them, but I do try to get them.

I never buy or play games only for achievements but for games that I've already beaten I'll go through them sometimes and try to get achievements that I didn't get the first time I played.

Nah seriously, right now i'm focussing on increasing my completion % (just hit 60%, up 10% since the introduction of the NXE) so i'm really more keen on "finishing" already started games than starting new games atm.
