More ads coming to Xbox dash?

Even though this is a mock up, this is disappointing. The old dash had ads, the new NXE dash is loaded with hidden ads. Now to have more ads would tick me off as a user since it is a paid service. This is why the XMB is top notch because of the clean setup.

they already had a rich media ad for pelham 123 that had a clip with audio from the movie on a dashboard square. It only activated when you looked at it, so it's not like you'll be looking through your friends list and hear, "YOU"VE WON A FREE IPOD!".

It sucks that Live turned into a for-pay, ad supported service, but that's business. They've got millions of people looking through the dashboard, so it was bound to happen. People complain about paying for XBL, but MS uses the money to pass the costs from the publisher to the consumer. While PSN users think it's great that they don't pay for online gaming, they'll never get the same amount of support.

There are ads for everything, I don't care anymore.

I pay $100 for a baseball ticket, there's ads all over the stadium, every swing and pitch is sponsored by some company, then replays are the same. Just par for the course.

Not saying I like it, just used to it.
